The Canadian government is deciding whether to allow a Tar Sands oil pipeline that would bring over 200 tankers per year to BC’s coastal waters. The Enbridge pipeline would carry dirty Tar Sands oil from Alberta to Kitimat, where supertankers would carry the oil along the route where the Queen of the North sank.
