Addressing the root problem

Making a lasting victory in the Sacred Headwaters

We are also working to address the root problems: British Columbia's lack of a publicly-supported energy plan and the province's weak regulatory process for coalbed methane development (one of the most environmentally harmful sources of natural gas). The things valued most in BC are at risk from irresponsible coalbed methane development, and that’s why we have to explore the tremendous potential of renewable energy resources and move towards a clean energy economy.

Stopping the Enbridge Northern Gateway Project

A proposed Enbridge pipeline would cross over 1,000 streams and rivers, including the Skeena watershed, home of the Sacred Headwaters. Making this project a reality would pose serious threats to one of the world's healthiest salmon runs and the livelihoods of many communities in the region.
